This listing is for one metal slot in placed in a standard cap. You get on to the cap and slot in.
Tired of the stock socket caps not fitting tightly in the socket opening. Regular stock caps do not permanently fit because soft vinyl caps warp and diminish in hot weather, and harden and shrink in cold weather. This vinyl cap have a metal slot in which will keep the cap shape and tolerance in weather extremes and flush in mild ambient temperatures, so the cap will permanently fit snugly. It will fit all standard marine grade nylon 12 volt accessory sockets caps. The cap end will fit tightly over the socket opening.
The cap is not for a metal cigarette lighter style sockets that are 7/8" in diameter.
