The search for missing University of Cincinnati student Brogan Dulle has been put on hold.

The Dulle family posted a statement on its search Facebook page Sunday night telling volunteers that they were not needed Monday.

We will not be sending any search teams out, the statement said.

The statement did not say why the group was no longer actively searching for Dulle.

The FBI joined the search and investigation into Dulles disappearance Sunday.

You cannot even begin to imagine how much your words of encouragement and your passion for helping us find our son has impacted us, Beth Dulle wrote.

Gilpin's restaurant in Clifton, which had been the search headquarters, was transitioning back to normal operations Monday afternoon.

Laura Lewis, spokeswoman for the Dulle family, expressed their thanks for Gilpin's help.

"We are so grateful for Gilpin's. They've been absolutely amazing and we want to let them get back to business. So, we're going to find somewhere where we can have more of a permanent place," Lewis said.

Volunteers manned a booth at the Taste of Cincinnati downtown over the weekend to hand out fliers with information about Dulles disappearance.

David Wilson handed out fliers about the 21-year-old UC student to passers-by at the Taste of Cincinnati. Wilson's son, Matthew, was doing the same thing, but for Matthew it is not just another missing person. Dulle is his swim coach.

"The kids love him," Wilson said. "He's pretty awesome."

Wilson talked about why it was important to get involved in the search.

"Hits so close to home, it's really hard not to get involved and do something," Wilson said.

Other volunteers handed out handbills outside Great American Ballpark during the Reds-Cardinals series.

A volunteer said that DirecTV donated space on its blimps digital display to raise awareness for the search.

Texas EquuSearch teams were still involved in the search for Dulle.

Dulle disappeared in the early hours of May 18. Since then, more than 1,500 volunteers have searched 40 square miles.

"It's a roller coaster. I mean, it's everything you would expect," Dulle's aunt Tina MacVeigh said.

MacVeigh talked about how everyone stays positive during the search.

"We all have our moments as you can imagine. You're in the middle of the day, you're positive, you know you've done your work, but we have our moments when you fall down and you fall low and you need some help," MacVeigh said.

We believe that we have all of the right resources and law enforcement involved in Brogans investigation, Beth Dulle said on Facebook.

The reward for information leading to Dulles safe return remains at $30,000.

The Dulle family is working on an event for Tuesday evening.

"We'll have a gathering of hope tomorrow to allow people to come together and express their sense of hope about where we are with finding Brogan," MacVeigh said.

The Gathering of Hope for Brogan Dulle will be held at the Cincinnati Zoo. Organizers said family and friends are invited to arrive at the Cincinnati Zoo between 6:30-7:30 p.m., with the Gathering of Hope to begin at 8:00 p.m. at the Vine Street Village location.

Organizers said they are asking that all organizations and people who want to pray and support the family host an event on Tuesday night and together have a moment of silence for Brogan and the entire Dulle family at 8:30 p.m.

Anyone with information about Dulles whereabouts is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 513-352-3040.
