Big changes are coming to several cable news channels Monday.
Maria Bartiromo, who was a CNBC favorite for 20 years, makes her debut on Fox Business Network. She anchored "Closing Bell" at CNBC, but she will be working earlier hours at FBN. "Opening Bell With Maria Bartiromo" will air from 9 to 11 a.m. weekdays.
Fox Business Network signed Bartiromo last month, and Fox News CEO Roger Ailes crowed about the hire.
"I tapped Maria to report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange while at CNBC, and I am delighted to have her join me once again alongside our star lineup at Fox Business," he said in a statement.
Bartiromo's stature as a top business journalist should help FBN. Fox News also plans to have her host a Sunday business show that will start shortly.
